The women’s ministry at Holy Cross goes by the title of Lydia’s Guild, named after Lydia in Acts 16 whose life exemplified hospitality, sacrificial giving, and hard work for the glory of God. Guided by their patron, the purpose of Lydia’s Guild is to provide the women of the parish with an opportunity for service and growth in the Lord.
The guild meets monthly for a time of fellowship, prayer, and planning. Throughout the year, they host many events, fundraisers, and outreach opportunities. Current ministries supported by Lydia’s Guild include Hope Resource Center, Iva’s Place, Care Cuts, Lost Sheep Ministry, and Cade’s.
Every woman who attends Holy Cross is automatically a member of the guild. For more information, please contact Ann Pope (865-966-5812 or apsp1@live.com).
